This morning I really didn’t want to go out and run. I sat on my front porch and put my shoes on knowing my running buddy was leaving to meet me, so I left. Mindfulness is somehow where you realize that you are not alone., whether it is the universe or a running buddy to keep you company. The first mile was so hard! I just hung in behind my running buddy and managed get through the first mile. In my fastest half marathon, it took me at least 5 miles for my legs to wake up so I am thinking to just stay the course. I managed another 7 slow miles but with each post run comes a little more confidence.
